About the Course

Financial Literacy helps students build essential money management skills and develop confidence in making informed financial decisions. Students will explore topics such as budgeting, saving, banking, credit, debt, investing, taxes, entrepreneurship, and planning for future educational and career goals.

Through real-world scenarios, simulations, and hands-on activities, students will learn how to manage money responsibly, set financial goals, evaluate financial choices, and understand how decisions related to college, careers, borrowing, and spending can impact their future.

Course Expectations

Students will participate in hands-on activities, financial simulations, discussions, assignments, projects, and real-world problem-solving exercises designed to strengthen financial understanding and build responsible money habits throughout the year.
